Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support

The Genesis Shelter is an established, trusted resource for women in need. After receiving massive news coverage following Winter Storm Uri, the Genesis Shelter has captured national attention. Social media allows us to amplify the voices advocating for the safety of women to current supporters, potential advocates and people who may be in need of Genesis’ help. By creating a consistent drum beat of content we will continue having important conversations with our supporters and online communities to drive awareness for their offerings, to educate advocates and audiences about domestic violence (DV), and to create advocacy among viewers – including through fundraising efforts.
